Omigosh I love him so much.
You might have overdone it with the colours just a little bit. It worked well on the first panel with Tai being seen through the JackBot's eyes, since they're red tinted but in other places it seems wonky compared to the black-and-white tone of the previous pages. And also when the JackBot is firing at the shadow is good because I don't think it would have looked that effective if it was just a grey tone. But it's your call really, I think personally you just need to find a balance. Try picking only necessary colours that will stand out against the black; the JackBot's eyes for instance, as I think it works really well. Blushes you can definitely do in colour as, again, it stands out.
Again, it's your choice and I'll love this either way. Especially my Tai~
And yeah, the colouring thing is still a work in progress, thank you for telling me which part was good and which was ott. So the red eyes on the bot was ok?
And what do you mean by "but in other places it seems wonkey"? Please do explain.
I'm thinking maybe I should change this page and fix it..but I need to understand where I went wrong better, and you seem to give good intell on these things~
Yeah the red eyes gave a great effect. What I mean by wonky is that you've suddenly added colours to things that you haven't in previous pages; such as Tai's eyes or the light green when he was swinging his knife thing. It looks nice, don't get me wrong but since it's only just appearing on the 53rd page, it's uneven with the style of the previous pages. Especially on the battle in the temple where there was lots of swinging and action but no colour.
I wouldn't say you have to 'fix it' just possibly modify it so it stays consistent with the previous pages. Or, you could have colour pages every now and then, like they do in manga sometimes. Whichever.
Lolololol I don't have good Intel at all. I just write long comments and that makes me look smarter. I'm just a teen with an over-imaginative brain, I suppose.
But yeah, thanks for telling me these things, it does help ALOT, as Im still growing in making this a good comic, it's yet to reach its stages in epic story mode~!
